Apple Cuts iPhone Price by $200

If you wanted an iPhone when they came out 2 months ago but thought the price was too high, Apple has cut the price on its popular iPhone by $200!!!


You can now get the 8gb for $399. Apple also offers free shipping!!
Per Apple, if you hurry you can also get the 4gb for $299 (while supplies last)

Question: I bought my iPhone and paid $599 for it 2 weeks ago

Answer: Apple Store policy dictates that you can receive a price adjustment for anything bought in the last 10 days

below taken from Apple's web site

"Should Apple reduce its price on any shipped product within 10 calendar days of shipment, you may contact Apple Sales Support at 1-800-676-2775 to request a refund or credit of the difference between the price you were charged and the current selling price. To receive the refund or credit you must contact Apple within 14 business days of shipment."

AT&T will hopefully honor the same price adjustment policy.

I wanted one of these the day they came out but could not substantiate paying nearly $600 for a cell phone, but this price reduction is music to my ears!!! However, when I finally buy mine, I'll need to keep it hidden before my teenagers "borrow it."

Apple also announced a plan beginning in October where iPhone users when they are at Starbucks could instantly transfer the particular song on at the time into their iPod, or get a list of the 10 most recently played songs.
